Exclusive Representation

Tech Türkiye Advocates

Academia Park London holds exclusive representation rights for Tech Türkiye Advocates, the Türkiye chapter of Global Tech Advocates.

Global Tech Advocates

The Network

Global Tech Advocates.

Global Tech Advocates is the volunteer-led, not-for-profit network founded by Russ Shaw CBE from Tech London Advocates. It now spans tens of thousands of founders, investors, operators and policymakers across nearly 50 tech hubs worldwide. Membership carries weight because it is peer-to-peer and independent: introductions, working groups and campaigning sit with people already running companies, funds and ecosystems — not with a trade body speaking on their behalf.

Tech Türkiye Advocates

The Chapter

Tech Türkiye Advocates.

Tech Türkiye Advocates is the Türkiye chapter of that network. Its remit is to put Turkish founders, investors and ecosystem builders in front of counterpart hubs — and to carry Turkish technology interests into the conversations GTA already holds with governments, capital and corporates. Academia Park London is the exclusive representative: we host the relationship, route membership, and run the UK and international programme on the chapter's behalf. The chapter launched in Istanbul on 21 May 2025.

Membership

What membership offers.

International Access

Membership opens the GTA network: counterpart chapters across Europe, the UK, the US, the Gulf, Asia and Africa, plus GTA Launch Pad — the shared resource for companies expanding beyond their home market. Warm introductions replace cold outreach.

Events & Convening

Members join chapter gatherings in Türkiye, GTA events in other hubs, and the annual GTA Summit — hosted in Istanbul on 7–9 October 2026. The calendar also includes London Tech Week, working-group sessions and smaller roundtables on capital, regulation and market access.

Visibility

Members can be profiled to international counterparts through the GTA and chapter channels — newsletters, GTA Connects, event programming and targeted introductions. The point is not generic publicity; it is being findable by the people who allocate capital, partnerships and market access.

Policy Voice

The chapter gives Turkish technology a seat in a network that already campaigns on talent, visas, investment and regulation. Through GTA, and through Academia Park London's UK representation, members can feed practical constraints into those conversations rather than watching them from outside.

Eligibility

Who should join.

  • Founders and operators of Turkish technology companies
  • Investors active in the Turkish ecosystem
  • Corporate innovation and venture teams
  • Ecosystem builders — accelerators, teknoparks, universities
  • Policymakers and public bodies working on technology
